BoliviaMall.com complaints

Further evidence that you should not buy from BoliviaMall. (Source)
Hi, I have a complaint about Boliviamall.com.

Complaints about this company appear to be subdued and so I though it best to let the public know about their very bad service. Below is a very simplified review I posted on their site but I assume they will not post it because it is negative feedback.

This company sent me a musical instrument worth $400 and it was cracked and badly repaired. They will not replace it or refund my money and I have been misled by them for about a year now. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! They have continuously offered me replacements refunds etc etc but have never delivered on their promise.

"Please don't order this Ronroco. Boliviamall are not able to provide this item. I recieved a very bad quality version after waiting for 6 months. I am still trying to get a refund one year later. Boliviamall customer services are now ignoring all of my emails and I am stuck with a Ronroco that was delivered with a cracked and badly repaired soundbox. Beware."

Thanks for providing this alert. I almost made a purchase before I found this site and a few other blogs indicating similar problems. I'm going to forward boliviamall.blogspot.com to my sister as well who was thinking of making a substantial purchase.

Keep up the good work, Bolivia Mall Consumer Alert!

Hi! Unfortunately I didn't come across this alert earlier... I was also robbed by this company. I ordered a box of chocolates for a relative in Bolivia last June. The box was never delivered, but they still charged my credit card. First, I was told that they couldn't deliver the chocolates because it was a rainy day. The following day they wrote saying that, in fact, they didn't have the chocolates I had ordered (so the excuse given the previous day was a lie), but they could replace the order with something else. When I refused and asked them a reimbursement, they said it took a long time to do so. I kept asking them how long it was going to take until they stop even answering the emails. I insisted this year, and they asked me to send them my credit card information via email, which is a gross breach of security standards in any country. Then they stopped answering again.
Boliviamall.com lied to me and robbed me. In its website, it's stated:

"All the orders are processed within 24 hours of received with the exception of those needed to be fabricated by our providers such as the case of some musical instruments or clothing garments.

Shipments are made within 48 hours next after we have received your order.

Our database is constantly updated with the information our providers give us daily.

When we receive an order, the availability of the product is verified at our storage and/or our providers' storage areas before validating the credit card information of our clients."

None of it was true in my case. They never delivered the order, the product wasn't available, and they charged me for something they didn't even have in store. Boliviamall.com is a scam, beware.

This is the first time that I have every left an on-line review, so this should tell you how bad and poor this company is.

Bolivia Mall is also connected to Alpaca Mall.
They have lovely items posted on their website, but please, do NOT EVER purchase from either Alpaca Mall or Bolivia Mall.
Please do NOT give them any chances.
They are not reputable or honest.

I purchased and paid for my item on Dec. 28th, 2015.

I asked Alpaca Mall to provide me with the shipping company name and the tracking number.
They didn't.
On Feb. 01st I asked them for the shipping company and tracking number.
All they could provide me was the shipping company name.

Through out all of this ordeal, the date that they shipped the parcel, changed.
They could not keep their story straight.
I e-mailed them 3 more times, asking for the tracking number, but they ignored my e-mails.

On the 3rd week of March 2016 I asked them to escalate my order and lack of service to their management.
Veronique the Customer Service agent said that she sent my request to Management and that I should be receiving an e-mail, soon.
Again, nothing happened.

On April 06th, I phoned Bolivia Mall, asking to speak to a supervisor.
I provided them with my Order #.
Very quickly I received an e-mail back from Veronique asking for 24 hours so that they could sort out and find the parcel, and that if I wanted, to send a letter and she would send it to management.
This is astounding, because 3 week prior I had already official requested that this order be escalated to the supervisor, management and company owner, which obviously my request was ignored.
I phoned back to Bolivia Mall and talked to Veronique, who told me that "I" should contact the shipping company to find the parcel.
I told Veronique that it is up to the sender to locate the parcel, and that even though I asked her "5" times to provide me with the tracking number, she refused, so how was I supposed to contact the shipping company to find the parcel without a tracking number?
Veronique kept telling me that I should find the parcel.

Alpaca Mall and Bolivia Mall knew there was a problem with my order since early Feb. 2016, yet they NEVER did any pro-active work to find the parcel or to contact me or to refund me.

I then requested a full refund, which I never received.

Please, do not EVER purchase any item from Bolovia Mall or Alpaca Mall.

Veronica Morales Quiroga is the one who cheated me as well. I ordered few alpaca wool jumpers from Alpaca Mall(order no. 41136) and the goods came to me from Bolivia Mall. The jumpers were not alpaca wool but faked synthetic material (a hard ball after burn). I asked many many times for address from Alpaca Mall for returning the faked jumpers but only given Bolivia Mall address. Veronica Morales Quiroga promised me my return postage fee will be refunded. When I received the refund from my paypal account and it was not included my postage fee. When I sent Veronica Morales Quiroga the promised email evidence of the postage refund, for 3 times, her return email would said the same thing " we have reimbursed you the money". She never wanted to know anymore regarding my postage fee $100.

I am wondering who is the government in charge of the fair trading so I can complain about the Alpaca Mall or the Bolivia Mall. Please let me know if anybody have the information because I am in Australia.

I ordered an item from Bolivia Mall, the money was paid, and when I sent an email a month later to ask where was my purchase I was told that Bolivian Customs do not allow it to be sent outside the USA, idiotic, why would use Bolivian Mall is I am in Bolivia,or why they advertise what they can not sell, and more important WHERE IS MY REFUND?? Any products they advertise ARE NOT SENDING.
Bolivian Mall was excellent when it was owned by one person, but now belongs to clearly a mafia .
I am still waiting for my refund, I am contacting the fraud department of my bank, also the Better Business Office.

BEWARE!!!!!
I also placed an order for several food products for around $50 via PayPal on Jan 23, 2017. I chatted with Rebecca/ Mildred in February at which time they explained that they were waiting for approval from customs to be shopped into the USA which they know is BS because this is what they do all the time or supposedly do. I'm sure now that this company is a huge scam being ran from La Bolivia and I advise everyone to NOT order anything from this scam artist who seems to be ripping customers off in any way they can.....
I have asked for a refund but I truly doubt that I will ever see any of it back!
If anyone knows where to complain to in Bolivia, please let everyone know and I will report them to the BBB in the USA, my bank and PayPal so they can remove their services from this scammer!!

I also would recommend strongly against using this company. I paid extra for expedited shipping, and when the item took significantly longer I asked for a refund of this payment -- no response. The quality of the item is not nearly what they made me expect, but they will not give me any refund for a simple return.

I echo what others have said. I ordered a 550$ ronroco that I arrived with a warped and bowed neck. I took it to the guitar tech/luthier I work with and he said there is nothing that can be done to fix a problem like that, and that it was a manufacturing defect.

The ronroco is playable but won't stay in tune and the intonation is really bad because of the bowed neck. It took about six weeks for the ronroco to arrive, and I was busy on a project, so I wasn't able to take it to my luthier for six or seven months. So I take responsibility for not doing that sooner.

I didn't want a refund, but rather to exchange it for another ronroco that might be more playable. They were unwilling to work with me at all. I sent pictures, but they couldn't seem to understand that this wasn't shipping damage, but a manufacturing defect, and poor workmanship.

So now I have a 550$ instrument that is barely playable, and won't stay in tune.

Avoid them like the plague!
